In Iowa, a Christian veteran took a stand against the First Amendment by destroying a Satanic holiday display at the state capitol. The Satanic Temple, defending their beliefs, promotes empathy and safety despite openly worshiping Satan. However, the concept of worshiping evil without any deception appears implausible. 

Meanwhile, in Texas, a woman fatally shoots a 14-year-old trying to break into her apartment. The teenager was identified as a former student at a nearby middle school.
