A Texan man pleaded guilty to kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, taking her all the way to California. She was saved when she boldly waved a sign that read "Help Me!" which caught the attention of a passerby. Concurrently, tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran in Iraq persisted, as Iranian-backed militias launched an attack on the Ain al-Asad air base. Although most missiles were successfully intercepted, a few managed to strike the base, resulting in injuries to American personnel and an Iraqi security forces member.
