Neighbour scams widow out of £650 with fake Glastonbury tickets he bought to 'get himself out the house'
Holly Griffin, a 35-year-old unemployed mother, has been ordered to pay £750 in compensation after defrauding her neighbor, Paul Kelly, out of £672.50 by selling fake Glastonbury Festival tickets. Despite living near the festival, Griffin continued the deception for eight months, knowing the tickets did not exist.

The court highlighted the breach of trust, especially given Kelly's recent loss of his wife. Griffin, who pleaded guilty, was fined £200 and admitted to avoiding conflict instead of being honest about the non-existent tickets.
