Fox News: Biden admin approves $950 million in contracts for border wall repair, upgrades
The Biden administration has approved $950 million in contracts to repair and upgrade parts of the existing border wall in Arizona, California, and Texas. The Department of Homeland Security awarded contracts for remediation work and "system attribute installation," including closing gaps, installing gates, and improving roads and detection technology. The money comes from Trump-era congressional appropriations, and none of it is awarded for additional wall construction.
The administration will make additional awards in the coming months, using remaining funds from FY 2020 and FY 2021. The Biden administration halted all additional wall construction upon entering office, but recently cited an "acute and immediate need" to waive regulations and build some sections of the wall in South Texas. The administration has faced criticism for changing its stance on the wall, but Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas stated that they are following the law and have repeatedly asked Congress to rescind the funds.

American Thinker: WashU sides with the anti-Semites
On Wednesday, students protest Israel's response to terrorist attacks by Hamas, demanding the university condemn Israel and sever ties with Boeing. They believe they are fighting for justice, but in reality, they are on the side of anti-Semitism.
Hamas, a terrorist organization, seeks the destruction of Israel. Supporters of Palestine fail to condemn Hamas, as a Palestinian survey shows that most of them support the group. Hamas commits horrific acts of violence, while Israel tries to minimize civilian casualties. The Palestinians have rejected peace deals and instead use aid to fund terrorism.

Daily Wire: Bill Maher Blasts Leftists For Hate Of Israel: ‘World Would Be A Better Place If It Had More Israels’
Bill Maher criticized woke leftists for their criticism of Israel, stating that Israel embodies the principles that liberals should support. He argued that Western civilization, which gave rise to liberal values, can be found in Israel but not in other Middle Eastern countries. Maher mocked the simplistic worldview of the woke left, who view everything as either victims or victimizers. He questioned why liberals would support Hamas, a group that oppresses marginalized people and ignores issues like sexual harassment and homophobia. Maher also highlighted the historical context of Israel's creation, emphasizing that it was a result of a United Nations vote and not a colonization effort by Jews.
American Thinker: Does it matter that big law firms are taking a stand against law school antisemites?
Several big-name law firms were shocked by the antisemitism they saw at Ivy League law schools following Hamas's attack on Israel. They wrote a letter urging the schools to address the issue, but I doubt it will bring about real change. These law schools have already been taken over by the left. The graduates from Ivy League schools often lack ethics and intelligence, and their degrees are used to advance social justice, not justice itself. The recent support for Hamas from law school graduates is not surprising, as their degrees are about promoting socialist justice, not upholding the law. Some law firms expressed their concern about the graduates who harbor antisemitic beliefs, but they may just want to avoid investing in potential controversies. The law schools will likely just encourage their students to be more discreet in order to secure jobs at these firms.

PJ Media: Is Organ Harvesting Euthanasia Patients Unleashing Ethical Crisis?
Countries like Belgium, the Netherlands, and Canada are blurring the lines between assisted suicide and organ harvesting. This raises serious ethical concerns, as individuals may be encouraged to choose suicide in order to donate their organs. The focus becomes more on the value of the organs than on the person's life. This trend could potentially lead to a slippery slope where more and more people are deemed eligible to be killed for their organs, undermining the ethical standards in transplant medicine.
