Townhall: One Sick War
One Sick War
The current Gazan war is marked by surreal and sickening paradoxes. Tens of thousands of Middle Eastern immigrants and radical leftists chant for the destruction of Israel while accusing Israel of committing genocide. Hamas uses civilians as shields, putting Gazans in danger, and launches rockets into Israel, targeting civilians. Israel is criticized for being too effective in its retaliation, while Hamas is rewarded for its ineffective rocket attacks. The United States pressures Israel while ignoring the fact that Hamas has killed American citizens. Antisemitism and geopolitical factors contribute to the world's skewed perspective on the conflict.

Farm Bill, Food Security, & Conservation with Congressman Glenn 'GT' Thompson
After the election of a new Speaker of the House, the mood in Congress is calm. Committee work, including the prioritization of the 2023 Farm Bill reauthorization, is progressing well. Chairman Thompson praises the new Speaker and emphasizes the important role of farmers and ranchers in combating climate change. Concerns over the Chinese Community Party acquiring farmland are being studied, as it could lead to food insecurity. The top legislative priority is keeping the Farm Bill free of extreme climate provisions. The Conservation Reserve Program is praised for its success in addressing soil erosion and improving water quality and wildlife habitat.
