The expansion of the Ulez in London has burdened cancer patients seeking treatment. Despite Mayor Sadiq Khan's assurances of exemptions and refunds, many patients remain uninformed about their eligibility for the £12.50 charge refund.

Charity Young Lives vs Cancer reveals that 59% of families are unaware of the refund scheme, making it difficult for them to reclaim costs during an already challenging time. 

Transport for London recognizes these problems and has committed to enhancing communication to better support affected families.
