Serrano-Restrepo, who has lived in the U.S. for over 15 years, was under investigation after purchasing at least 22 firearms and claiming U.S. citizenship on forms. A search of his home resulted in the seizure of around 170 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition. His trial is set for January 21, 2025.
