The American Spectator: The Forces Behind ESG’s Blacklisting Effect
Left-wing asset managers are using ESG investing as a means of political control over corporate investments, blacklisting entities that dissent against ESG practices. Red states like Oklahoma and West Virginia are blacklisting left-leaning asset managers, while blue states like Illinois bar financial professionals from becoming pension fund managers if they don't incorporate ESG strategies. A coalition of politically active shareholders is advancing resolutions to shame organizations deemed anti-ESG, exerting a chilling effect on membership and contributions.
The American Spectator: Was Reagan a New Dealer?
Henry Olsen promotes the idea that Ronald Reagan was a Franklin D. Roosevelt New Dealer, but many disagree. Reagan rose as part of the conservative movement inspired by conservative fusionism and supported ideals of freedom and tradition. Reagan made concessions, but ultimately implemented conservative policies and rejected FDR's centralized policy. He believed in federalism and the importance of devolving power to states. Reagan also proposed cutting domestic spending, fought stagflation, and reduced non-defense federal budget spending. He supported restrictions on abortion, won the Cold War without military conflict, and committed fewer overseas troops. Fusionism is a balance between freedom and tradition, and the answer is to reinvigorate both and strengthen federalism. Olsen argues that big government must be defended but most agree that it does not work. Reagan was not a New Deal thinker, but a fusionist philosopher.
Townhall: Alarm Bells for the Establishment
Recent events underline the establishment's struggle to shape public opinion and silence critics. Left-leaning powers control mainstream media and dominate social media, censoring dissenting voices. However, conservative and populist forces are gaining traction, as seen in electoral victories of Geert Wilders and Javier Milei. The establishment's grip on public opinion is weakening. Similar backlash may occur in the United States, where despite establishment scorn, Donald Trump remains politically strong and has a high chance of winning the next election. The establishment is considering co-opting or neutralizing these threats. Their decline prompts speculation on what desperate measures they may take.

Townhall: Hamas Atrocities Against Israeli Women Met With Deafening Silence
Misogyny and cultural “norms” in the Islamic world have led to the subjugation of women through practices like female genital mutilation and forced marriages. During Hamas' massacre of over 1200 people, including rape and kidnapping, Israeli women were targeted. Women's rights advocates have turned a blind eye to these crimes, despite clear evidence. The silence surrounding these acts of sexual violence is criminal, and it reflects the inhumanity and repression present in the Islamic regime of Iran and other adherents to the religion. The threat of raping Jewish women has even reached Ivy League colleges. The truth is being raped by those charged with protecting women from sexual violence, with individuals denying the rapes occurred during the massacre. The silence and lack of condemnation from the international community is alarming and concerning, as rape and sexual assault should be treated as war crimes.

Townhall: Brian Stelter Just Exposed His Partisan Blind Eye Approach to the Media
Self-professed media expert Brian Stelter criticizes Fox News for disseminating false information about the Rainbow Bridge car explosion incident, labeling it as a terrorist act. Stelter's recent critique is part of his ongoing pattern of targeting Fox News while largely ignoring similar behavior from other news outlets. This selective criticism undermines his credibility as a media critic.
