Front Page Magazine: $561 Billion of Biden's Spending Spree is Up for Grabs
$561 Billion of Biden's Spending Spree is Up for Grabs
The federal government has allocated $1.1 trillion for climate, clean energy, and infrastructure programs under the Biden administration, but over half, approximately $561 billion, remains unspent or unobligated. Criticism arises over ineffective spending, with projects like broadband expansion and EV chargers seeing minimal progress.

Republicans plan to scrutinize this spending, aiming to recover funds and potentially eliminate tax credits for electric vehicles. Concerns are raised about the legitimacy of many projects, suggesting they serve as giveaways to special interests rather than viable initiatives.

Germany is tightening knife laws following a series of violent incidents involving refugees. Recent attacks include a Syrian refugee slashing victims at a festival and an Afghan refugee attacking a rally, prompting officials to propose stricter regulations on knife possession.

Despite these measures, a recent stabbing in Berlin by a Syrian national, who stole a knife from a supermarket, raises questions about the effectiveness of such bans. Critics argue that focusing on knife restrictions overlooks the underlying issues related to the ideology of violence.
