Mercedes and Red Bull, teams competing in the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, faced controversy when they violated curfew rules by working on their cars late into the night. However, they have managed to escape punishment. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), governing body of the race, allows teams to have two infringements of the curfew rule, and fortunately for both teams, they did not surpass this limit. While the violation stirred attention and raised eyebrows, the absence of consequences spared the teams from potentially detrimental penalties.
