Populism will still play a significant role in Polish politics due to the fear of losing sovereignty and historical traumas. However, the removal of the populist PiS regime in Poland is a significant win for democracy.

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz and his followers ousted McCarthy with Democrat support, without a plan forward. Colorado Representative Ken Buck and South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace, who supported Gaetz, have questionable stances on key issues. If the Republican Party fails to elect Byron Donalds as House Speaker, a new party should take its place. The current state of affairs is concerning, especially with global tensions rising.
