A repaired Ukrainian Leopard 2A4 tank, along with other tanks, is being sent back to Ukraine from Poland. Ukraine has received 40 of the promised Western-style tanks for its war effort against Russia, which has caused the loss of around 500 tanks. However, Western-style tanks are more robust and can be repaired quickly, so Ukraine has only lost three of its delivered Leopard 2A4 tanks.

Spectator USA: Yaks in the Mongolian fall
Yaks in the Mongolian fall
Driving through the Mongolian taiga, we came across a herd of yaks being driven by a youth on a pony. The yaks trotted towards us, grunting and snuffing the air, before stopping in a semi-circle. The herd owner offered us yak clotted cream and yak-milk tea, and told us about the abundant wildlife in the area. Despite living off sheep's entrails on previous trips, we enjoyed a delicious meal of sheep mutton cooked with river stones. The owner declared that he never wanted to see a yak again after turning sixty. The evening ended with singing folk songs. Mongolia has made immense progress since our last visit and is a wild, friendly place. The next morning, we witnessed nomadic women milking yaks and learned about the history and uses of yak milk. Yak down is used to make warm clothes and the animals do not smell due to the lack of sweat glands.
