Trump Unloads on '60 Minutes' for Kid-Glove Biden Interview, 'Led Him Along Like a Lost Child'
President Joe Biden's recent interview on "60 Minutes" showcased his inability to appear without embarrassment. Former President Donald Trump criticized the network for its soft handling of Biden and accused them of protecting a corrupt and incompetent president. Trump also highlighted the stark contrast in treatment between himself and Biden during their respective interviews on the show.

Pelley's handling of Biden during the interview received criticism for his guiding and finishing of sentences. The overall handling of the interview was viewed as shameful.

Similarly, the Huntsman Foundation has informed the University of Pennsylvania that it will cease future donations, citing the university's silence in condemning the Hamas attacks as a form of antisemitism. Penn's President and Provost have called the attacks "abhorrent."

Joe Biden's Campaign Launches Account on Donald Trump’s Truth Social
President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign has joined Truth Social, the platform created by former President Donald Trump to avoid censorship by Big Tech. The campaign is embracing the “Dark Brandon” meme and posts on the account have already reached double digits, although comments have been highly critical of Biden. Polls in Rust Belt states suggest Biden is vulnerable in hypothetical match-ups against Trump, with Trump leading in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin polls and only one point behind in Michigan. The waning support for Biden from his base is causing concerns within his party.

Spectator USA: Why I should have had more children
Why I should have had more children
Sometimes life doesn't go as planned. The decision to have children can be out of our control, but many women like me wish we had more. Articles claiming that having only one child is ideal leave me feeling unsettled. No one seems to address the child's perspective on being an only child. The taboo of expressing regret about not having more children is curious, given the global concern over declining birth rates. Instead of making women feel guilty, we should encourage honesty and examine the reasons why women are leaving it too late to have children. The idea that cash incentives or tax breaks will fix the baby bust is flawed. We need to have open and honest conversations about our choices and priorities. In my own experience, I didn't prioritize starting a family until it was almost too late. I love my small family, but if I could go back in time, I would spend it differently and have more children. It's important to be honest about our desires and experiences so that future generations can learn from them. Society's emphasis on convenience and self-actualization at the expense of valuing children and family may be contributing to the decline in birth rates. We need to reevaluate our priorities and educate younger generations to view having children as a privilege rather than a burden.

Spectator USA: Nineteen Eighty-Four... as told by Julia
Nineteen Eighty-Four... as told by Julia
Sandra Newman's Julia is a young woman with a keen sense of smell and a reminder of the physical abandon of George Orwell's original Julia in Nineteen Eighty-Four. However, in Julia, bodies are both sensuous and horrifying. The novel lacks the conviction and ideology of Orwell's work, and the protagonist becomes enveloped in delusion and apathy. By the end, Julia is longing for comfort and escape, resembling the false ending of Terry Gilliam's Brazil without the punchline.
