Soros wrote an op-ed arguing that America and Israel should open the door to Hamas and blamed the pro-Israel lobby for hindering peace. Soros continues to financially support groups sympathetic to Hamas, including Al-Shabaka.
The Palestinian group Al-Shabaka, funded by Soros, rejects Israel's borders and supports the dismantling of colonial power. Soros's foundations have also supported Black Lives Matter and Rashida Tlaib, who blamed Israel for recent events. Hamas has caused significant casualties and injuries in Israel. Soros's support for pro-Hamas groups and individuals is concerning given their stated goals of destroying Israel.
