Cenk Uygur, creator of the Young Turks, is running for president challenging Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination. However, Uygur is ineligible to run due to not being a natural-born citizen. He believes that Biden can't win against Trump and is campaigning on issues such as paid family leave, higher wages, affordable health insurance, and fighting corruption. Uygur plans to focus his campaign in the media rather than traditional campaigning methods. The only other challenger to Biden in the primary is Marianne Williamson, while Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. switched to running as an Independent. Polls suggest that Kennedy would pull away more voters from Biden, but there is also the possibility that he could pull away more would-be Trump voters due to his medical freedom stance and vaccine skepticism. Trump appears to have a more loyal voting base than Biden.
