Hamas is also now deploying them against Israel's tanks, however, Israel's Merkava tanks are better-equipped than most to survive these attacks. The Merkava is fitted with extra armor on top of its turret, protecting it from top-down attacks. While it is not invulnerable, a drone strike on a Merkava is more likely to immobilize the tank and spare the crew.
