American Thinker: Maybe Garvey can start a streak of common sense
Steve Garvey, known for his baseball career, is now running for office in California. Despite the state's long history of not electing Republicans, Garvey believes the current decline in various aspects of California provides an opportunity for a non-partisan and experienced candidate. While the odds may be against him, Garvey's popularity could help him reach a larger voter base than other GOP candidates.
American Thinker: Hillary's deprogramming scheme
Railroad cars filled with deplorable passengers arrive, directed by police and soldiers. Clinton's call for "deprogramming" Trump supporters raises questions of legality, funding, and due process. Amanpour's failure to press Clinton reflects skewed journalism. Housing and detaining millions of deplorables poses logistical challenges, while leftists' draconian measures echo oppressive regimes. Democrats' silence on Clinton's suggestion indicates tolerance or acceptance of her proposed American gulag.

American Thinker: The War Against Italian Americans
Italian-Americans have been overlooked and excluded from the grievance-industrial complex that only permits ethnic groups of color to have grievances. They have received less recognition and cultural appreciation compared to Americans of Spanish descent. Despite facing past injustices, such as a deadly mass lynching in New Orleans, Italians proudly celebrated Columbus Day and identified themselves as Americans. However, they have been marginalized and their history and contributions are often disregarded. This cultural erasure is reflected in the removal of the Christopher Columbus statue without consulting the Italian community and the subsequent construction of a statue honoring George Floyd in Newark.

The number of internally displaced people in Gaza has surpassed 300,000 as Israeli forces continue their relentless bombardment. Attempts to establish a humanitarian corridor for civilians have hit a roadblock. The overcrowded UN-operated schools that serve as shelters are facing limited availability of essential supplies. Talks between Egypt, Israel, and the U.S. regarding the corridor have stalled, and the crisis has the potential to escalate with the possibility of a ground invasion by Israeli forces. Over 2,300 people have lost their lives in this ongoing conflict.

Field & Stream: Oregon Will Supply Wolves for Colorado's Controversial Wolf Reintroduction Plan
Colorado Parks & Wildlife will acquire up to 10 gray wolves from Oregon and release them on the state's Western Slope by the end of 2023 to reintroduce stable populations of wolves. The decision was made after Colorado voters narrowly approved Proposition 114 in 2020, with opposition from hunting-focused conservation organizations. The wolves will be captured in Oregon and transported to Colorado with the aim of releasing an equal number of males and females. (, )

Forbes: Against Backdrop Of Gaza, Ukraine, 10 Predictions For 2023 Trade Results
Oil is set to become the United States' most valuable export in 2023 due to higher prices caused by the Russian war in Ukraine and a Hamas attack on Israel. The total trade will fall short of the previous year's record, and the trade balance will shift back above 40% in exports. Port Laredo is expected to become the nation's top port for international trade, surpassing the Port of Los Angeles. Mexico is poised to become the nation's top trade partner, and passenger vehicles are projected to become the most valuable import. These changes indicate the instability of the current times.
