Although the agency has been focused on anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing, Cohen warns that the new organisation must be able to co-ordinate effectively with existing enforcement agencies. The agency's success will also depend on the hiring of specialist prosecutors with expertise in tackling complex financial crimes.
