Senator Ted Cruz went off today on Dick Durbin after Durbin impugned his character and essentially accused Cruz of islamophobia over his questioning of a Biden nominee.

Durbin suggested Cruz was trying to tie Adeel Abdullah Mangi to an radical antisemitic organization because he was a Muslim, but Cruz obliterated that narrative and pointed out it he just voted for a Biden nominee how was a Muslim that didn’t have any ties to such radical organizations.

Rather, Cruz went on to point out how Mangi was part of this radical organization and why his questioning was absolutely on point.
