NextImg:WATCH: Scott Jennings gives masterclass on Trump’s comments about Smithsonian and slavery – The Right Scoop

Scott Jennings last night gave a masterclass on why President Trump is exactly right about the Smithsonian focusing too much on ‘how bad slavery was’ and not about the successes and brightness of America.

First, what they are referring to is a Truth Social post from yesterday afternoon where Trump wrote this:

The Museums throughout Washington, but all over the Country are, essentially, the last remaining segment of “WOKE.” The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been — Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future. We are not going to allow this to happen, and I have instructed my attorneys to go through the Museums, and start the exact same process that has been done with Colleges and Universities where tremendous progress has been made. This Country cannot be WOKE, because WOKE IS BROKE. We have the “HOTTEST” Country in the World, and we want people to talk about it, including in our Museums.

Jennings expounds on this in a brilliant way, reminding the panel that America eradicated slavery a long time ago:

He’s exactly right. And of course the former Biden clown on the panel suggests that Trump is ‘denying’ slavery, but that’s not at all what was said.

This reminds me of an old clip that I posted back in 2010, where a man explained how slavery was started by Muslims and went on for a long time. But then, when slavery came to America, White Christians and Jews fought a terrible war over it and ended it. In other words, he credits America with ending slavery when the rest of the world did not, and sees slavery coming to America as a bright spot in the history of the world and not a lament.
