The screeching about Elon Musk at CNN is nearly deafening and some of those at the nightly table are outright lying about the authority Musk has in order to claim there’s a major conflict of interest.

Below are a couple of videos where Jennings has to constantly defend the truth against these liars who are trying to turn DOGE into a scandal, where there is none.

Specifically, they are claiming that Elon Musk oversees grant money when he receives grant money, claiming that is a conflict of interest.

In the first clip, Jennings does battle with a former DNC spokeswoman who lies about this conflict of interest:

The truth, as I understand it, is that some of the people working for DOGE are also part of the very departments they are auditing. When DOGE finds waste in grant money or wherever, it’s the department that cuts the waste. Elon Musk is not actually doing the cutting himself and it’s a lie to say he is doing it.

This is really no different than the phony scandal about DOGE accessing the Treasury database. The people accessing the database were Treasury employees who already had access to it.
