Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth refuted an argument by Democrat Betty McCollum against sending the US Marines to Los Angeles, and he did it with one line.

In short, McCollum was making the stupid argument that since the current Los Angeles riots aren’t like the 2020 BLM riots, which started in her state, nor the Rodney King riots, that sending in the Marines is completely unnecessary.

But Hegseth reminded McCollum of what really happened in 2020 and you could hear her begin to object as soon as he did.
