As the government of Canada is faltering, Mr. Wonderful is stepping in to ‘negotiate’ with President-elect Trump on behalf of the Canadian people and what they might want out of some agreement with the US.

Kevin O’Leary told Fox Business that Canadians want to explore an economic union, especially given the vast resources they have. But they don’t want to lose their sovereignty, just like we wouldn’t here.

O’Leary also made an interesting point about Trump’s negotiating tactics, saying “I think [Trump] is a great negotiator and he throws out these outlandish ideas. And then what falls through the cracks is the winning stuff. I really think the two countries should get together.”

It will be interesting to see what could come from this, if anything. The government of Canada would have to be on board and as crazy as they have been under Trudeau, it seems unlikely. But perhaps new leadership could see the possibilities and would be willing to explore it.
