In the past Ilhan Omar has accused her colleagues who support Israel of having dual loyalties, of having an allegiance to a foreign nation over the place they call home, America.

But today there is a video how of Omar doing that very thing herself, expressing to her Somali constituents that she is in Congress to protect the interests of their homeland Somalia – and says it as if it’s her primary goal. Speaking to them she makes clear that “we are Somalians first” and “Muslims second”.

In this pro-Somalia speech, she talks about how some people who “call themselves Somalis” have made an agreement with Ethiopia for access to the “sea” and that Somalis have asked her to get the US to thwart it. She says the US will do whatever she and the Somali-Americans tell it to do and nothing else, emphasizing that they live in American and pay taxes here and call the shots here for Somalia.

She then talks about how Ethiopia and Kenya (and others) have stolen their lands and that Somalia is for ethnic-Somalians only and that they will liberate their land from these non-Somalians.

If this isn’t having an allegiance to a foreign nation, the sky is not blue and the moon is made out of cheese.
