Governor DeSantis was on with Maria Bartiromo today and he defended his campaign against media narratives that suggest his campaign has stalled. Bartiromo asked “what’s going on with your campaign?”
Here’s how DeSantis responded:
In short, DeSantis laughed at the media narratives Bartiromo asked him about and suggested it’s just too early to judge his campaign. He said he never expected to enter the race and just snap his fingers and he’d be winning.
No, DeSantis says victory has to be earned and his campaign is working on building their campaign apparatus for each state. He added that all of the record money ($150M) his campaign and super PAC just raised hasn’t even been spent yet.
He told Bartiromo that it’s not a national election, suggesting national polls aren’t really important. It’s the states that matter and that’s where he’s focusing his energy. Watch the video for much more, especially how DeSantis says he will fix the corrupt DOJ.
