Former NBC News host Brian Williams destroyed the Democratic Party last night on the late show with Seth Meyers over the claims they made during the election about immigration and the economy.

Williams started by saying that Democrats have lost the working class entirely, explaining that it was insulting for them to lie to the American people about the economy and immigration by claiming they are fine when the American people can clearly see they are not fine.

Williams also mocked Democrats for being ‘charmed’ by the Walz/Harris camo hats they came out with during the election, saying these are hats millions of Americans put on every day.

He also accused Democrats of having ‘suicidal empathy’, meaning they focus too much minority groups that they ‘win the argument but don’t win the election.’

No, they didn’t ‘win the argument’ because if they had, they would have won the election. Even so it’s a good point to make.

All in all it was a good clip, especially to hear this from someone who is clearly a Democrat but clearly more in touch with why they lost than most Democrats are willing to admit.
