Tonight Mike Lee offered a reasonable amendment to the $95 billion dollar foreign aid bill, which is to not pay for Ukraine reconstruction with the money in this bill.

It immediately got objected to by Democrat Senator Catherine Masto from Nevada and the reason is absurd:

Masto said “Republicans had the chance to work in a bipartisan fashion and ring-wing extremists in the GOP said no. I object.”

She doesn’t even object based on the substance of the amendment. She objects because she doesn’t want Republicans offering amendments because bipartisanship is dead because ‘right-wing’ extremists or something. It’s ridiculous and fascist.
