Democrat Rep. Gerry Connolly tried his best to get Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle to blame guns for the attempted assassination of Trump which happened less than two weeks ago.

Connolly pushed and pushed Cheatle to blame the access to firearms for making her job more difficult, but she refused. Instead she said suggested she respects the second amendment and said job of agents is hard every day because they live with continual threats.

Connolly became incensed that she wouldn’t say what he wanted her to say and questioned whether she should be the USSS chief because of that.

It honestly surprised me that she wouldn’t go there given all we’ve seen. She absolutely should be fired, but not because she wouldn’t blame guns for Trump’s shooting. That’s just absurd.
