Daniel Penny has responded to fake media claims after his encounter with Jordan Neely in which he protected passengers on the subway.
Watch below:
The first thing he debunks is the claim that he was holding on to Neely for 15 minutes. He says this is absolutely not true because the amount of time between stops is only a couple of minutes and the entire interaction lasted less than five minutes.
Penny then states he was no trying to choke Neely to death, as some people claim, but was trying to restrain Neely from carrying out his threats and that you can see in the video Neely was breathing.
Lastly, Penny says this was not about race. He points out that there were black passengers on the subway that he was trying to protect and that he didn’t see Neely as a black man, but as a man who was threatening passengers.
