A CNN panel this morning on State of the Union was trying to defend Joe Biden’s legacy, suggesting he will be remembered for accomplishments in the Middle East and elsewhere.
But Scott Jennings was having none of that and completely destroyed that narrative:
It started with Karen Finley suggesting that she was shocked to learn how bad Biden’s health was, but then said “He showed up for the job, he got the work done. I think some of the accomplishments, also in the Middle East and foreign policy will also stand the test of time.”
Jennings quickly hit back saying “You think the Middle East is in better shape today than when he took office?”
Finley said “Well I think he got our hostages home and that’s a big deal…”
Jennings interrupted – “I’m sorry, which hostages?”
Finley said “He’s gotten a number of people home..”
Jennings interrupted again, saying “There’s still a hundred people over there including some Americans.”
Jennings continued…
“I think he’s going to leave office in disgrace.”
“The Hunter Biden pardon was disgraceful. He’s going to be remembered largely for inflation and for the disastrous Afghanistan pullout. And I think as we continue – we’re just getting the first draft of this now. But as we continue to learn about the massive cover up that went on, not about his health, but about his mental acuity, to cover that up, the efforts that were undertaken by the White House staff, by his family – not in the last couple of months but for all four years. I think it’s going to be a really ugly chapter. It’s a diminished presidency because of it. And I think we still don’t know the full extent of what they did to try to hide what they’ve been doing over in the West Wing.”
Exactly. Both this country and the world has been a disaster since Biden took office and he can’t go quickly enough. Democrats are lying to themselves and the American people to say otherwise.
It’s really amazing too because Democrats lying about the economy and Joe Biden’s record is part of why they lost the election. And yet they continue to do it, apparently not having learned this lesson yet.
