The video of the gunman this morning shooting United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson has emerged on X and it’s horrific. I really hate to even post the video because I hate to see people dying.

But seeing the video makes one realize that this was likely a hit and not just some random shooting.

That said, you should know what you’re watching before you push play. The gunman shoots Thompson in the back, cycles his gun and shoots him again.

The reason I’m posting it is this:

This was a hit. The pistol is suppressed, and the gunman is running sub-sonic rounds (which is why he’s cycling the gun manually). Only way to get anywhere close to the ‘poof!’ you see in movies. He dumped the gun, will change into the clothes he likely has in that backpack, and he’s gone. Either a corporate hit, or someone really didn’t like seeing their grandma die in pain after a claim was denied. Astounding.

And…

If this was a hit it means someone knew when and where Thompson would be and knew exactly who he was. Again, horrific.
