Chuck Todd actually apologized today for his MSNBC network bosses hiring former RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, suggesting she has credibility problems or something.
From the way he apologized, it sounded like he was offended that they would hire her and put her on the air.
Watch below:
Todd said via TV New Now, in part:
“Our bosses owe you an apology for putting you in this situation,” he told Kristen Welker on Meet the Press. “There’s a reason why there’s a lot of journalists at NBC News uncomfortable with this.”
“You got put into an impossible situation, booking this interview,” Todd said. “And then all of a sudden the rug was pulled out from under you, and you find out she’s being paid to show up? It is unfortunate for this program, but I am glad you did the best that you could.”
I’m not fan of Ronna McDaniel so this isn’t a defense of her, per se. But it’s utterly ridiculous that Todd would act this way over McDaniel’s hiring and suggest he doesn’t know if what she’s saying is trustworthy. His network is full of people – Todd included – that speak on behalf of or in defense of the Democrat Party and never in defense of the Republican Party or their ideals.
Did Todd apologize when they hired Jen Psaki, Joe Biden’s press secretary? I just don’t remember him saying anything about that. Why then get so offended by McDaniel’s hiring and besmirch her credibility on-air?
This is why I call these people the garbage media. They want you to believe they are objective news when they are absolutely a propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.
