Chris Matthews was on the Morning Schmoe today and used questionable language against a President who has already had two assassination attempts on his life.

Matthews was using the analogy of Trump firing at Democrats with a machine gun, referring to the massive amount of policies that he’s doing right now, asking “Who is going to take a shot back at Trump?”

Matthews says, in part:

“It’s very hard to take on a firing squad. A lot of bullets coming your way, all aiming at you, and you’ve got to shoot back in all directions at the same time. Nobody in the Democratic Party can say, Schumer can’t do it.”

“Who’s going to stand up? Who’s going to take a shot back at this guy? Why isn’t Cory Booker doing this? He’s got all the time in the world. I am a big Cory Booker fan. Do it. Cory. Do it.”

Look, I realize he’s not talking about actual guns and bullets. But I guarantee you that if the roles were reversed and Kamala won the presidency after having had two assassination attempts on her life, one of which struck her in the head area, the garbage media would never allow someone on the right to use this kind of language without scandal. They would be pilloried by pundits everywhere and the weaker ones would be forced to apologize.
