NextImg:[VIDEO] – ABC News defends Tim Walz, says he NEVER claimed to see active combat while playing a clip of him saying exactly that – The Right Scoop

ABC News is now defending Minnesota Governor Tim Walz over stolen valor attacks by JD Vance and others.

ABC’s Selina Wang claims that Walz has NEVER claimed to see active combat after playing a video in her segment of Walz talking about guns he carried in war.

Note that Wang starts the segment by saying that Vance, as a Marine, never saw any active fighting despite being deployed to Iraq.

Wang highlights Vance’s stolen valor attack on Walz, saying Vance is seizing on a video of Walz saying “and we can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is the only place where those weapons are at.”

She then defends Walz by saying “Walz served in the National Guard for 24 years and has never claimed to have seen active combat despite those comments that he carried a gun in war.”

Did you catch that? Walz literally tells a crowd that he carried a gun in war and this Democrat propagandist for ABC News says he didn’t really say that. Unbelievable.

Wang nitpicks and says Walz has never claimed to have seen active combat, but what in the hell does she think “those weapons of war that I carried in war” means????

It’s unreal the lengths the garbage media will go to defend their candidates, even if it means lying for them.

In 2007 Walz claimed that he “deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.” He then added “My battalion provided base security throughout the European theater from Turkey to England in the early stages of the war in Afghanistan. And that same battalion is now in Iraq at this time.”

According to this he’s admitting he never actually went to war in Iraq, but that’s clearly not what he wants people to believe when he says “those weapons of war that I carried in war.”
