Trump posted on Truth Social overnight and warned of “death and destruction” if he gets charged with a crime by the Manhattan DA.

Here’s what Trump said:

“What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country? Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”

I’m not sure why Trump would say such a thing unless he expects his followers to riot and kill if he gets arrested.

I expect comparisons will be made to January 6th by the garbage media, but this is nothing like that. There Trump told people to protest peacefully. Here it appears that Trump wants his protesters to be violent if he gets arrested and charged by the DA.

I haven’t read all of his posts on Truth Social, but the ones from last week were simply telling people to “Protest Protest Protest”. Now he writes this which is a bit concerning. Am I reading this wrong?
