Earlier today we told you that RNC committeeman David Bossie put forward a resolution to make Trump the presumptive nominee, after only two states have voted.

Since then Trump has responded to the news, saying he doesn’t think it should go forward for the sake of party unity:

The RNC also responded to the resolution:

“Resolutions, such as this one, are brought forward by members of the RNC,” Schipper said. “This will be taken up by the Resolutions Committee, and they will decide whether to send this resolution to be voted on by the 168 RNC members at our annual meeting next week.”

As a side note and regarding what Trump said about party unity, he also wrote this last night:

“Anybody that makes a “Contribution” to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.”

Birdbrain is Nikki Haley. Isn’t banning people in the party from MAGA anti-party unity?
