President-elect Trump questioned this morning the legality of Democrats like Kamala paying massive amounts of money for endorsements, as she did with Beyonce Oprah and Al Sharpton, calling it “totally against the law.”

Here’s what he wrote:

Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al? I don’t think so! Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do much of anything (she called it “expenses”), and Al is just a third rate Con Man. So what is going on here??? Totally against the law, and I have heard there are many others!!!

The reason why this is important is obvious, as it suggests that the Trump FEC or DOJ may be looking into the legality of this and if they find it is illegal as Trump says, Kamala and her campaign staff could be prosecuted on campaign finance charges.

Trump suggested that no real work was done for these massive donations and it clearly looks improper at face value. I’m no expert on campaign finance law but I hope Trump’s administration follows through and investigates this.
