NextImg:The two-faced Elizabeth Warren wing bash DOGE while using it to advance their own socialist Medicare goals — and revenge – The Right Scoop

WHILE they are out bashing DOGE and Elon Musk, saying it’s the even end-ier of democracy than before, calling him a Nazi NOT because of a gesture they lied about but because he’s cutting government waste — they are also trying to use the moment as a positive with constituents.

So bashing it to get the nutroots AND taking advantage of it at the same time for their own gain. What? Not DEMOCRATS!!

I mean of course that tracks. Take Elizabeth Warren for example. You may recall that the far left and congressional progressives (but I repeat myself) utterly despise Dr. Oz, who let’s be clear, isn’t what you’d call a traditional Republican but supported Trump and is the nominee for head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Aside from being with Trump, one of the biggest reasons a lot of so-called progressives hate him is that he’s a supporter of Medicare Advantage … which they hate.

In fact, he’s such a big supporter of Medicare Advantage that he actually wants Medicare Advantage for All. Y’all, that’s a form of SINGLE PAYER – which you may know by its other name, The Devil. Barack Obama wanted it, ‘member?.

So how, then, could leftwing Dems like Dick Durbin and Jeff Merkley have a problem with it? Surely they LOVE it and therefore love Dr. Oz, yes?

<a href="http://<a href=" https:="" www.ajmc.com="" view="" dr-oz-s-medicare-proposals-face-scrutiny-from-democrats"="" target="_blank">No.

The lawmakers critiqued Oz’s vision for CMS, outlined in 2020 before his 2022 Senate campaign, which advocated replacing traditional Medicare with private Medicare Advantage plans.1,2 A Forbes article articulated the plan of Oz and George Halvorson, former CEO of Kaiser Permanente, which proposed the expansion of Medicare Advantage on the basis that it offers better care than traditional Medicare through competing plans.2 Oz and Halvorson argued that this model could rapidly be expanded to cover all Americans not on Medicaid by implementing a payroll tax of approximately 20%, which would be split between employers and employees.

The article also noted that the purchase of Medicare Advantage plans for each member would result in plans being paid monthly, not per care service, which “would free the plans and caregivers from the perverse consequences of being paid fees for each piece of care and from being dependent on individual pieces of care for their cash flows.” They suggested that this would incentivize plans to keep members healthier, aligned with the principles of value-based care.

And even though this would in fact be a form of single payer, progressives hate it because it’s not traditional Fee-For-Service Medicare for All. You that one is the full SOCIALIZED version, where government directly pays up per service. It’s what Elizabeth Warren and progressives and socialists like Bernie Sanders actually want.

So they don’t want the Obama-beloved, commie single payer. They wanna go the full Marx.

People like Warren and Sanders also like it because a minority of seniors in their states use Medicare Advantage, which is the opposite of the nationwide trend. It’s also the opposite of the trend in many red states, which you may know by their other name: the WINNING states.

Now, fifty-four percent of eligible enrollees nationwide use Medicare Advantage, not traditional Fee-For-Service. And more than 60 percent of seniors in red states like Alabama and Florida get their Medicare through Medicare Advantage. I can’t stress enough these are Trump voters.

Meanwhile in deep blue Massachusetts, fewer than 40 percent get Medicare that way, so it’s no surprise that Warren A) wouldn’t care about the program because it’s not to her advantage, and B) considers it an obstacle to full-on socialized medicine.

BUT Medicare Advantage has repeatedly been shown to provide better value for taxpayers AND an improvement to the financial solvency of these entitlements – you know, less wasted tax money – than the socialized Medicare Fee-For-Service. I mean — obviously.

And that’s where we finally get back to DOGE. Because Fauxcahontas is playing at being a big cost-cutter as a way of getting rid of the thing she thinks is the obstacle to socialized medicine. She sent a letter to Musk with her “plan” back in January – and this Time article fawns over it under the headline “Elizabeth Warren’s Plan for How Musk Can Cut $2 Trillion in U.S. Spending,” naturally making it seem like a dare more than a proposal.

“If Elon Musk is serious about cutting government waste, fraud, and abuse, he may find help in an unusual place: Elizabeth Warren,” it read. I mean, give me a break. And they add, “One area ripe for bipartisan cooperation may be tackling wasteful spending and abuse in the healthcare industry, such as ending or overhauling Medicare Advantage.”

It’s a pure propaganda piece and they’re testing the waters on outright calling for an end to Medicare Advantage. But it goes to show THREE VERY IMPORTANT THINGS that everyone should be remember this week while DOGE and Musk come under even more intense fire:

1. Progressives want Medicare Advantage gone and even the single payer version that Dr. Oz very wrongly supports, all because they see them as a roadblock on the Road to Serfdom and full-on socialism. (But I repeat myself.)

2. Progressives are going to keep calling cost-cutting measures the end of democrats the entire time that they’re also pretending to be on board and telling their constituents they are trying to help cut waste, fraud, and abuse.

And 3. They think that destroying how Medicare works will destroy Dr. Oz, alienate Trump voters, and help their losing and hated party claw its way back to power.

All their wants are a good enough reason alone to want the program to continue if you ask me. But even if not, at the least to expose them for not caring about the outcome, or the people, but only, as usual, their own lust for power.
