The slob of the Senate, John Fetterman, has just released a statement calling for Senator Menendez to step down after the indictment came out last week.

Fetterman says that while Menendez is entitled to the presumption of innocence, he shouldn’t be wielding influence over national security and should step down and focus on his trial:

What would Fetterman do without aides? He clearly didn’t write this statement and that’s the first thing that dawns on people once they read how articulate it is.

That said, he isn’t wrong. But I guarantee you that Fetterman and others wouldn’t be saying this if it were a Democrat in a red state.
