


Republicans in Congress today passed the REINS Act, which would in effect limit the executive branch’s bureaucracy and the regulations they put out.
Before passing this, amendments were posed by both parties and one of them would have forced congressional approval before the executive branch could create new rules and regulations that would increase access to abortions:

These Republicans are all from liberal states except one: Nancy Mace from South Carolina. This shouldn’t be a shock considering she opposes ‘extreme’ abortion bans in Republican states. She was also one of 39 Republicans who voted with Democrats to pass a gay marriage bill last year.
