Smug idiot John Berman at CNN is famous for being not too bright, even for a CNN guy. He’s more like a mascot than a real anchor. So when he tried to take on Rep. Tim Burchett on Tuesday over the activist judge trying to ensure that terrorists are free to roam America, he was of course outmatched.
But that didn’t stop him from spending most of the interview talking over his guest and acting smugly superior. After all that’s the CNN trademark, ain’t it? Branding is 99% of surviving or whatever.
As usual, it just made him look like an idiot. And Burchett absolutely tore him a new one over the bias at CNN and in the media in general, correctly pointing out that if this activist judge were ruling for Republicans people like Berman would be in a moral panic and tizzy. Or in Berman’s case, emulating other people in that state to the best of his limited abilities.
By the way, obviously this clip starts about halfway into the conversation when it really got heated. You’ve been spared the first five minutes or so of absolutely inane dithering and intellectual dishonesty on Berman’s part.
