The political editor of The Sun, Harry Cole, reveals that he has diplomatic sources who are telling him that this is the worst they’ve ever seen Joe Biden at the G7.

Of course Cole discusses the viral clip that we posted yesterday where Joe Biden looked very confused and the Italian Prime Minister had to help him understand what was going on as the rest of the world leaders gathered round Biden to try and protect his image.

Cole says “you do really wonder how Joe Biden is going to be able to run an election campaign in October and November,” adding that even if he won, “is that a man you really think is going to get through the next four years?”

Cole confirms that Joe Biden isn’t doing all the meetings you’d expect to see a world leader do at the G7, saying “he ducked out for dinner last night.”

He then says his diplomatic sources at the G7 are telling him:

“It’s the worst they’ve ever seen Joe Biden and he’s in a bad way. He’s losing focus in meetings. Sometimes he’s very sharp, sometimes he’s very much not. Some worrying developments there…”
