This is getting beyond ridiculous. Now Rep. John James is bashing Governor DeSantis over Florida’s curriculum and accusing him of attacking black Republicans:

“Ron DeSantis, #1: slavery was not CTE! Nothing about that 400 years of evil was a “net benefit” to my ancestors. #2: there are only five black Republicans in Congress and you’re attacking two of them.

“My brother in Christ… ????????‍♂️ if you find yourself in a deep hole put the shovel down. You are now so far from the Party of Lincoln that your Ed. board is re-writing history and you’re personally attacking conservatives like Tim Scott and Byron Donalds on the topic of slavery. You’ve gone too far. Stop.”

This is not hard and I just don’t understand these attacks…unless they are politically motivated. And that’s honestly what it smells like to me.

Because there are nothing wrong with Florida’s curriculum! It’s said to be a model for the nation by a historian who does this for a living. I’ll do that as a post next.
