President Trump celebrated this afternoon the conservative victory in German’s elections, saying it’s a “great day for Germany and for the United States…”
He posted in all caps. I’ve readjusted the caps to make it easier for you to read:
Looks like the conservative party in Germany has won the very big and highly anticipated election. Much like the USA, the people of Germany got tired of the no common sense agenda, especially on energy and immigration, that has prevailed for so many years. This is a great day for Germany, and for the United States of America under the leadership of a gentleman named Donald J. Trump. Congratulations to all — many more victories to follow!!!
The man poised to be the next chancellor of Germany is Friedrich Merz, of the conservative Christian Democratic Union.
Elon Musk was strongly pulling for the Alternative for Germany (AfD), which according to CNN “almost doubled its vote share and surged into second place.”
I don’t really know anything about the CDU, as I don’t pay close enough attention to German politics. But hopefully, as Trump suggests, this will be a great win for Germany. You guys can let me know below if you agree with Trump.
