The media is bending over backwards this morning to defend Joe Biden after Devon Archer’s blockbuster testimony yesterday.

They are contorting themselves so hard to suggest that Biden didn’t know what he was doing, that they are about to break something.

Jonathan Lemire: “We should put this in context; this is the time when Beau Biden, the president’s other son, was ill & dying & then passed away. So perhaps he wasn’t as attentive to what he should have been”

Eugene Robinson: “We know how important family is to the president. So, do you hang up on your son?”

They admit that some of Biden’s behavior is unseemly however they defend him by saying that Republicans haven’t proven that Joe did anything illegal yet. They act as though they are the jury in a court of law and need evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt or something. And then of of course they throw in this bit about Biden’s other son was dying and excuse away any unseemly behavior as Joe being not that ‘attentive’ as he should’ve.

It’s disgusting how they are bending over backwards to defend an obviously guilty Joe Biden when they never did any such bending for Trump. Everything Trump did they scandalized, day in and day out, when he was president.

In fact here’s a perfect example from Jonathan Lemire’s tweets this morning:

Lemire is ready to see corruption with Trump based on a single line from the New York Times. Yet he won’t see any corruption with Joe Biden despite the overwhelming evidence that he peddled his influence for big money bribes.
