Mark Levin just praised President Trump for taking control over Washington, D.C.’s metropolitan police department in order to get rid of crime and make the city safe again.

He added that, because D.C. is a federal city, this is absolutely lawful.

Here’s what he said:

KUDOS YET AGAIN TO THE PRESIDENT

The District of Columbia IS our FEDERAL city. Since the 1970s, steps were taken by Congress to increase local control over the city. The city council is radical left and the mayor is incompetent.

This is why President Trump is so incredible. He sees what has happened to the DC and he is acting. And he is acting save the city, protect the people, and clean up the monuments and streets! It’s very exciting!

I predict the Democrats, their media, and the radical leftwing ideologues will accuse him of being some kind of dictator or racists or whatever. Of course, the Democrats are all that and more. The Constitution created the District of Columbia and the president is in charge of the executive branch. This is not only lawful but it is leadership in action!
