In an interview yesterday, Ron DeSantis described himself as a ‘change agent’ who gets things done when responding to a question about Nikki Haley.
Watch below:
Here’s what he said: “Nikki Haley is more of a status quo, typical establishment politician. I’m a change agent. We overhauled Florida, paying down debt, school choice, lowest crime rate in 50 years. We got to get a president up there who’s going to lead, who’s going to fight for people, who’s going to win these big fights, is going to put this country in a better direction. You gotta be willing to upset the applecart if you’re going to get that done.”
I love this. He’s the only one running in this race who has really been a change agent. Trump wanted to be a change agent and he did get some good things done as president, but much of it was not permanent – as we all see and feel now. And Nikki Haley is every bit the establishment politician that DeSantis describes.
Mark Levin responded to an article reporting that Haley is spending $3.5M on attack ads all aimed at DeSantis and none for Trump. Levin said: “Haley is trying to blow out all Trump challengers who are left, then position herself as the only alternative to Trump. Again, she’s George Bush in a dress, a uni-party billionaire donor favorite, the GOP establishment dream candidate. And the Communist Chinese are no doubt rooting for her as well, given her slobbering communications with that hideous communist regime.”
