It’s that time of year when we get together with family and friends and enjoy a big meal and, perhaps aftward, watch a football game or two.

But it is important to reflect on the things that we are thankful for and, as always, I have so much.

⭐️ For starters, I had my ileostomy reversal surgery in May and just had a colonoscopy last month. So far everything is great. No cancer. I am still healing from not having used my colon for about a year and a half, but with a little planning I can do whatever I need to do.

⭐️ I am very grateful for my family and friends. While my family is doing Thanksgiving tomorrow, I will be going to my mom’s today for a little pecan pie.

⭐️ I am also very thankful for all of you who make this site a wonderful place. Where would I be without you?

⭐️ Above all else, I am thankful for the unending mercy of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Without it, I would be full of despair and without hope. God’s love is truly profound and there is simply nothing greater in this entire universe.

I know there may be some of you who will be alone today so I hope this site aids you. I want this to be an open thread so you have a place to come and interact with people if you like.

Lastly, here’s a Thanksgiving message from President-elect Donald Trump:

Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!
