Gavin Newsom is trying to pretend that he’s done nothing wrong and that he’s just trying to find out what’s going. He does say he’s getting different answers from local officials so he knows he’s not getting the truth.

But he also blames Trump, saying we are back to the ‘grievance of Trump’ and suggests that’s why ‘lies’ are traveling around on social media:

“But no one has any patience anymore in this weaponized, back to the grievance of Trump. There’s immediacy and lies travel the proverbial world and it’s hard to get the facts out there unless you have the backing of those facts and you can communicate them soberly. And that’s what we’re trying to achieve.”

Newsom is just like the local officials who are lying to try and save their jobs. Local officials are surely to blame, but so is he for cutting the state’s budget by $100 million and not deforesting these areas where wildfires. He’s also not allowing water to travel down state because of a stupid fish.

So yeah, when he blames Trump I just want to say FU to him. He needs to resign and so do the local officials and the Democrats in the legislature.
