A Fulton County clerk of court is claiming that the document seen by Reuters early yesterday was just a fake document used to test their system.

Here’s the statement:

Clearly it wasn’t the true indictment, but all the charges on the ‘fake’ document were on the official indictment document last night.

Call me cynical, but this sounds like the clerk of court is trying to cover for the District Attorney’s office to keep them out of legal trouble for publishing an indictment charges before the vote ever happened.
